We are orthopedic physical therapists who utilize individualized care to help our patients get back to everyday life and achieve their fitness goals. The physical therapists at NRT are highly educated on the most current research on pain science. We’re committed to assisting patients return to work, sports, and life through individualized, one-on-one physical therapy treatment.
Nancy Robertson
Nancy grew up in rural Iowa where she played competitive volleyball, basketball, track and fast pitch softball. She attended the University of Wyoming on a basketball scholarship, graduating in 1989 with a BS in Biology and a Master’s in Exercise Science in 1990. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado in 1992. Following this, she returned to Casper with her husband, Charlie, taking her first job with the Wyoming Medical Center, where she worked in post-surgical care, wound care, and outpatient therapy.
In 1998, she joined Casper Orthopedics where she was the head of the therapy department for 19 years. In 2001, she became certified in Athletic Training and has spent countless hours in the gym and on the sideline taking care of not only Casper athletes but those from around the state and region. Nancy has been the certified Athletic Trainer for the Wyoming Coaches Association All-Stars weekend since 2004. She has been an orthopedic and sports medicine presenter at the Wyoming Coaches Association Sports Medicine conference. In 2015, she was awarded the Wyoming Coaches Association Service Award. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1992 and the National Athletic Training Association since 2001.
In 2017, she opened Nancy Robertson Physical Therapy with the goal of providing a different experience for those individuals looking for an orthopedic and sports medicine clinic providing one-on-one individualized care. She is pleased to provide a unique therapy and training facility!
Nancy and Charlie have 3 girls: Megan, Emily and Kate and enjoy traveling, making dinners together, camping, spending time with family and friends and snuggling their therapy dog, Josie.
Fun fact: Nancy and her husband Charlie enjoy statewide road trips on gravel backroads, finding and rating local coffee shops (and breweries). Favorite food: high school gymnasium popcorn.
Sara Stier
PT, DPT, Certified Exercise Physiologist, Certified in Dry Needling and Cupping
Sara enjoys working with all ages and helping them achieve their fitness goals or return to their normal day to day functioning. She has a passion for fitness and wellness and enjoys helping her patients find their own passion for fitness and wellness too. Sara also loves working with soccer athletes!
Sara is a native of Casper and graduated high school in 2009 from Natrona County. She attended the University of Mary on a soccer scholarship graduating in 2012 with her BS in Exercise Science. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 at the University of Mary.
Nancy has been a mentor of Sara’s since high school and was part of the reason she began her career path into physical therapy. Sara, her husband, Chris, son, Asher, and daughter, Leighton, enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, spoiling their 2 dogs, attending community events, and spending time with family and friends!
Fun Fact: Sara has a love for Halloween and every year she convinces her family to partake in family costumes! Just ask to see pictures, she loves to show them off!!
Danielle Newman
PT, DPT
Danielle enjoys treating patients of all ages and functional levels. She especially enjoys treating runners and has taken many running courses for injury prevention/recovery and performance.
Danielle is a Wyoming native, born and raised in Casper WY. Danielle grew up playing many sports including volleyball, basketball, softball and tennis. She also enjoys the many outdoor activities Wyoming has to offer including hiking, backpacking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. Since graduating college, she has also started distance running including half marathons and trail runs.
Danielle received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Sports and Exercise Science in 2012. Shen then went on to get her doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Mary in 2015.
Fun Fact: Danielle has 7 horses, 20 cows, 3 dogs and 2 cats. Camping and being outdoors with her family and animals are some of her favorite things.
Cormick Eaton
DPT
Cormick first became interested in PT after experiencing the rehab process through his own sports injuries in high school and recognizing how rewarding the profession is. He truly loves his work as he can share his passion for health and wellness with patients every day. He enjoys treating a wide variety of individuals from young kids to older adults, and all with different skill levels. He has a special interest in sports medicine and vestibular rehab. He is certified in Level 1 trigger point dry needling, and has plans for many more continuing education courses in the near future.
Cormick was born and raised in Casper, where he attended Kelly Walsh High School. He played baseball, football, and wrestled. Cormick went on to wrestle at Northwest College in Powell, WY. He received his BS in Kinesiology & Health Promotion in 2018 from the University of Wyoming and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Concordia University, St. Paul in May of 2023.
When he is not working, Cormick enjoys exercising and staying active outdoors including golfing, playing softball, running, hiking and snowshoeing. Cormick recently became engaged, and he and his fiancé adopted an adorable English Cream Golden Retriever named Luna!
Fun Fact: Cormick competed in Switzerland for wrestling 2011 following his senior year. He also ran his first half marathon in January 2023 and will be running another half marathon in January 2024 with the goal of beating his previous time!
SARAH JENNINGS PT, DPT
Sarah finds joy in working with individuals of all ages, helping them regain their normal routines and achieve their personal fitness milestones. She is deeply committed to health and wellness, and she delights in inspiring her patients to embrace a healthier lifestyle. Sarah is passionate about her work, as it allows her to share her enthusiasm for fitness and well-being with her patients each day. She particularly enjoys the challenge of treating a diverse range of individuals, each presenting unique skill levels and abilities.
Sarah grew up in Casper, where she attended Natrona County High School. She was highly competitive in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Sarah went on to play soccer at Sheridan College. She received her BS in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Wyoming in 2020 and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, CO, in May of 2024. Sarah and her husband, Trey, enjoy staying active in the outdoors, playing recreational sports, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Fun Fact: Sarah has recently developed an interest in distance running and trail running.
Treva Hurst
Treva has been in the finance and management world for close to 30 years. She thinks of herself as a self-proclaimed “numbers geek”, and absolutely loves working with people! That is what makes working at NRT so great! She gets to work closely with some amazing co-workers, help so many wonderful patients daily and loves getting to crunch numbers and take care of the office!
Treva has been married for over 20 years to husband Beau. Together they have two amazing children, son Darian and daughter Aubry. They live for their little family! For the past 24 years, you could likely find her at a gymnasium or on a sports field while coaching athletes, watching her kids compete or playing a sport herself. Her and her family love being out in the community!
